A lot of the fossils found in this area are completely replaced by
pyrite and marcasite after pyrite.  Some fossils can be found
with pyrite crystals covering them.  It is mostly the Brachiopods
that are replaced by and covered with the pyrite.  Small crystals
of pyrite and marcasite can be found by themselves also like in
the picture below.
