Abstract:
This is a layer file for the shapefile representing the geographical extent, yield and thickness of the Mississippian Coldwater, Sunbury Berea, and Bedford Undivided Aquifer within the Oak Openings study area. The layer has a set symbology for the aquifer and the aquifer yield. It is used to define, evaluate, quantify and delineate the ground water resources within the aquifer.
Purpose: Created as part of the Oak Openings GIS database
Supplemental_Information:
This data was edited for the Oak Openings study area. Original data was created by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for the statewide aquifer mapping project and can be downloaded from the programs web site. The metadata for the project can be found within the folder in which this data located.
